仇焕广，中国人民大学农业与农村发展学院教授，博士生导师。国家玉米产业技术体系经济岗位科学家，荷兰自由大学、英国伦敦大学、中国人民大学国家发展与战略研究院兼职研究员。主要研究领域包括：农业发展政策、农业资源与环境政策、农产品市场与贸易、空间一般均衡模型等。主持国家自然科学基金课题5项，国家社科基金课题1项，973课题子课题、国家科技支撑子课题、加拿大国际发展研究中心(IDRC)等课题20余项。2009获得英国皇家学会、英国社会科学院、英国皇家工程学院“牛顿国际学者”资助。2012年获得国家自然科学基金委“优秀青年科学基金”资助。2013年入选达沃斯世界经济论坛“青年全球领袖(Young Global Leader)”。
在国内外学术期刊发表学术论文近100篇，其中在《Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences》、《Agricultural Economics》、《Food Policy》、《Journal of Environmental Quality》等国际期刊发表SCI/SSCI论文20余篇，在国内《经济研究》、《管理世界》、《经济学季刊》、《中国农村经济》、《环境科学》等期刊发表论文近80篇。出版中英文著作7部，包括英文著作3部。20余篇政策建议报告被中办和国办等采用，10份获得国家领导人批示。多次接受中央电视台、中央广播电台等媒体访谈。
W.C.M. van Veen Msc (FEWEB, Development economics) is economist at the Amsterdam Centre for World Food Studies of the VU University, Amsterdam. He obtained an M.Sc. in Econometrics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1979 and joined the VU in 1980. His core activities have been in the fields of mathematical economics, social accounting and general equilibrium modelling. He has vast experience in developing tools for national economic planning via construction of Social Accounting Matrices and Applied General Equilibrium models, gained in particular in projects for Bangladesh (1981-1985), Thailand (1983-1984), Indonesia (1985-1989), Nigeria (1992-1997) and China (2002-2005 and 2007-2010). Policy issues analyzed with these models cover a variety of topics such as structural adjustment and food policy (Indonesia), sectoral development planning and income distribution (Nigeria) and agricultural trade, farm incomes, environmental pressure and regional land use patterns (China). Outcomes were presented at various workshops and policy seminars in the region. Recent modelling projects in which Van Veen participated concern policy coherence for Ghana (2013-2014) and water use in the Jordan River Basin (2014-2016). The latter project has resulted in a regional hydro-economic model of the basin that should support decision makers of the riparian countries in the design of concerted water management policies and in evaluating the impact of these policies on the welfare of the population.
Dr C.F.A. van Wesenbeeck (FEWEB, Development Economics) is a member of the Management Team of the Amsterdam Centre for World Food Studies at VU University, Amsterdam. She is an expert in general equilibrium theory and applications, in particular focusing on the assessment of impact of policy changes, and on the inclusion of biophysical characteristics in economic modelling, in spatially explicit models of production, transport and natural flows. In addition, she has extensive experience in spatially explicit statistical analysis of survey and map data, and profiling of vulnerable groups. She has extensive experience in international research projects. Among others, she has been member of the research team in the project “Towards concerted sharing: Development of a regional water economy model in the Jordan River Basin”, 2012-2016; has been involved in various Tailor Made Training programs (NUFFIC/NESO), among others in Mozambique and Indonesia; was project team leader of “Autonomy, partnership and beyond, A counterfactual analysis of policy coherence for Ghana”, 2013-2014; principal researcher and coordinator of tasks within the SOW-VU Work Package of EU 7th framework project “CLIMAFRICA”, 2010-2014. She serves on serves on various boards and advisory committees. Among others, she has been chair of the International Advisory Committee ‘Food and Business Global Challenges Programme’ of the National Science Foundation in the Netherlands (2013-2017), and member of the Round Table on Monitoring Food Security (CFS).
